I started working in the hospitality industry when I was in college in Boston as a backup plan for when I graduated. I fell in love with the human interaction and social aspect of the occupation and never left. Looking back now, I can see how this makes sense, since I grew up watching my parents flawlessly entertain their friends, family and colleagues.  My time in the restaurant industry naturally progressed from managing the floor, to running private events. Eventually, I moved into the world of catering and planning large-scale, off-premise events. The ability to bring visions and dreams to reality, coupled with my love for attention to detail and my type A personality, makes this my dream career. While my most challenging and rewarding experience was planning, executing and winning a national award for a 1,000 person event, nothing makes me prouder than the look on a bride or groom’s face when they see their reception completely set up for the first time.
