I spent the majority of my life as a full time Morrissey fan, but, unfortunately, that just wasn’t paying the bills the way I’d hoped. I began my career as a visual merchandiser and stuck with it for 12 years. During this time I was able to travel the east coast opening new stores and pushing the boundaries by installing creative and exciting window displays. I began winning awards for window installments that I constructed in New York City. I decided I had peaked and wanted a new challenge which lead me to food and beverage hospitality.
I collaborated with an up and coming restaurant and bartended at night. I enjoyed being able to interact with guests directly but missed being creative. I had been made aware of Copper Kitchen and was immediately drawn to the aesthetic they were creating.
Upon meeting the owners and learning more about their company culture I appreciated their transparency, creativity and passion for sustainability- I was hooked. My role allows me to put in hard work and also be creative, it’s a perfect fit!
