Copper Kitchen’s journey began in 2011 when Jennifer DeVos and Chef Kevin Miller, with over 50 years of combined experience in the restaurant and catering industry, joined forces to create something exceptional.
Chef Kevin Miller, renowned for his culinary artistry, had already earned accolades as the Executive Chef at Baltimore’s Ixia restaurant. Jennifer DeVos, known for her organizational skills and can-do attitude, had a successful career with a boutique concierge service. They discovered a growing demand for private chef services through Jennifer’s business, leading to their collaboration and the rapid growth of their culinary talents.
Recognizing their shared passion for food and hospitality, they founded Copper Kitchen, embarking on a culinary journey that has delighted countless palates and left an indelible mark on the catering industry.

Not sure I will be able to put into words how wonderful Copper Kitchen was to work with. Their staff was absolutely unbelievable. They were responsive from the beginning and throughout the entire planning process. Staff onsite for our wedding were kind and welcoming. They enjoyed our party as much as we did! The food was just delicious and they really step up their displays with little touches that make for a really special experience… those special touches, do not cost more, they are just what CK does and I think that is what sets them apart from any other caterer. We proudly consider ourselves a high-end restaurant on wheels, serving the DelMarVa region, which includes Maryland, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Our mission is to bring the authentic flavors of the Mid-Atlantic to your table, no matter where you call home.
We proudly support the initiatives and apiary at the Piedmont Learning Center in Gwynn Oak, MD.

Our team is family. We know that every player in an event is crucial – from menu consultation to contract delivery, from dishes being spotless to wine being chilled, from guests feeling welcomed to seamless course transitions – each task and team member is valued, and pivotal. Our team members hold each other and every event to the highest of standards, and it shows in their work. We strive to not only create exceptional events, but we also want to be an amazing place to work. We believe that an engaged and inspired company culture will produce the most genuine and motivated staff to take exceptional care of our clients. Monthly meetings with our core team are a platform to problem solve, update the team on the progress of other divisions, and determine the most important and immediate direction of the company. Most decisions are made in a collaborative manner where a team of employees come to a consensus on what will be best for client and the company.
